this is brilliant. i have previously used the behmor. this is much better. what is unique i think is that you put the beans in and then you are done. the machine's ability to complete the roast when it should is unmatched in my experience.
perfect for home use because now once a week i get machine out, do say 5 batches, and i have fresh coffee that tastes delicious.
this is a really great product. yes it is a glorified popcorn popper but it does a terrific job and the automated nature of it is unmatched.

The Kaffelogic is the answer to everything I didn’t like about the Behmor. I can now use the Kaffelogic indoors without the fire alarm going off or the house smelling like roasted coffee. I don’t need to put my ear near the roaster to hear first crack and then press a button or lose a batch of beans if I miss the 5-minute mark. The Kaffelogic can be left unattended and it produces consistent roasts. Chaff is collected automatically for easy disposal. However, the chaff tends to stick a bit to the mesh on the chaff collector so this needs a few light taps to remove the chaff. But it is so much easier than shaking the Behmor basket and having to vacuum the chaff out of the roaster. It would be nice if the mesh could be replaced with some other material. Also if they could come up with a gadget that could suck up the beans from the chamber after roasting into a coffee bean container. It is a bit heavy tipping the roaster to pour beans out of the chamber. And it would be nice to be able to set profiles with an app on an iphone, with roast profiles for beans from different suppliers.

This is my first coffee roaster. I found this so easy to use and no need to buy anything else. It is very compact and easy to store or keep on kitchen bench. The main reason I bought this was for repeatable roasts and computerised roast profiles you can analyse and even make your own. It does come with pre programmed profiles for different altitude beans and roast levels. It came with 4 sample packs of beans of which my first roast was a success I need to find the right roast level for me. The service at Green Bean was fantastic and delivery with COVID-19 going on was very speedy!! Nothing Better than fresh coffee 👍

At this stage I have only roasted one batch of beans using the default setting. I found it easy to use, the result was good and the batch size suits a single user like me.
