Amazing aroma and taste

One of the best SO espressos you'll have.

Easy to roast, too.

Between 2.8 and 3.1 on the 1500-2000 Rest or RTD profiles on the KL does the trick for me.

1:1.5 ratio on the Lelit Elizabeth with a gentle 2 bar pre infusion for about 8-10 seconds.

Alternatively, have also tried a 5 second bloom pre infusion - not quite as smooth but still great - reflecting the quality of this bean!

Versatile and delicious

Bright and fruity (berry in particular) on the lighter side of roasting. Deliciously roasty and retaining that berry undertone when pushed to the dark side. Outstanding fruity aroma to top it off. You’d be raving if you were served this in a cafe.

Excellent quality beans

First class beans gave a lovely even roast. Classic Ethiopian flavour with a mild roast. Very pleased.

My favorite so far

I don’t have a vocabulary to describe the complex flavor of this bean but when I compared with other Ethiopian bean I also purchased, the difference was clear and a slight price premium is well justified. So far, I like the roast which was stopped right after the end of the first crack which suits both espresso and paper filter but the darker roast to the second crack also makes great espresso.

Loved these beans

Being a novice and manually pan roasting my batch weekly, i was still able to extract the flavours out of these beans to get that complex fruity notes with syrupy body! Much better than the local beans I use to buy and struggle with it in the past!
